Well, two sheep. @shepherdmans wife joined Tia and I on a walk along the high quarry edge, but the wind was cold and the light drab, and so we descended the flight of steps down to the wildlife pond. Too warm for ice, too cold for wildlife, and the only interesting feature of note was the felled trees and shrubs, removed by conservation volunteers to open up the pond edge, which at least will provide a better view of water fowl in Spring. We returned along the track below the quarry edge, passing these specimens, two members of a flock grazing a field occupied by cows, and sometimes horses, later in the year.
