Mawddach Estuary by shepherdman

Mawddach Estuary

We crossed the rail/footbridge across the Mawdadach estuary back to Barmouth as the tide was going out. These boats would soon be high and dry. The wind blew across the exposed sandbanks, carrying the sand across the bridge, threatening our cameras and lenses with wind-blown grit, @shepherdmanswife sensibly had a cover for her camera. I had to make-do by using the sort of plastic bag, with convenient tie-handles, carried by all responsible dog owners. My camera reamined grit-free.
Great shot of what happens to boats during low tide!

A great composition - like the way the little boats are all lined up. A clever way to keep your camera dry - will have to try that.

The shallow depth must make these waters so light and rippled!
