@shepherdmanswife has spent the evening at Baslow Edge, Derbyshire, photographing moorland awash with purple heather glowing in the evening sunshine. She has texted to say the sunset from Baslow Edge was somewhat disappointing, which is a shame. The sunset over Croft Hill, on the other hand, was quite acceptable. Oh well, when the wife is unavailable for a romantic sunset stroll, its good job that I have the dog.
