This could only end in one way, and it did. Water skiing competition in Rother Valley Country Park. When I tried waterskiing some years ago I couldn't get the board out of the water, let alone stand up on the thing, I ended up more water-ploughing than skiing, eventually sinking beneath a wild plume of spray.
