Through The Ages by shepherdman

Through The Ages

A trip to the village of Brinklow in Warwickshire this afternoon, to visit an arts and craft sale where one of our friends had a stall. We went for a walk through the village and up "The Tump", a high mound overlooking the village, originally a Norman castle This shot is from the 11th century castle to the 13th Century church and 18th and 19th century cottages, and in the distance, thankfully almost invisible, is the 20th century warehouse development of Magna Park. We left our 21st century pooches at home.
Nice view. Sounds like an interesting place to visit

@julzmaioro Similar style of tower (and same County!) but this is just the local village church. Warwick castle is about 15 miles away from here. We are blessed with history around every bend!
