The view from our dog walk this morning, just a short stroll along the lane from our cottage in Cumbria. Our walk decended steeply for a short way into the valley, and what goes down must come up again in the way home. It was a good warm-up for a walk up a fell later today. (For those outside the UK, a fell is a term used for a mountain in Northern England)
Interesting scene. I'm more used to seeing a few trees on a mountainside so the low vegetation seems a little odd to me. You certainly have a hike to look forward to.
