Lake Windermere by shepherdman

Lake Windermere

Lake Windermere. A peaceful end walking along the lakeside after a day of negotiating the busy touristy streets of Bowness-on-Windermere while accompanied by an adolescent German Shepherd dog, who fortunately was generally fairly well behaved. "My" rescue mongrel Tia was, of course, totally laid back about the whole urban experience.
A beautiful capture of this scene across the lake.

You are allowed to walk a dog in the wee villages? In our town its no dogs in the business area but we have a trail where you can take a dog on a lead!

Nice composition, the rocks draw the eye to the mountains.

@maggiemae Dogs are allowed pretty much anywhere in the UK, apart from sports or playing fields and most food premises. Just got to be under control. Most owners would put dogs on leads near traffic or livestock.
