This is my beautiful cat called Inca. She is 7 years old and is a Somali which in basic terms is a long haired version of the Abyssinian. This breed is very loyal and friendly. She loves company and if you're not giving her enough she will leap through the air onto your shoulder and become a living fur collar!
This photo was not taken today as I have been too busy to take a picture. I will post daily photos when I can, but would like to share photos that I have already taken.
Oh I love her, we had a cat called Truffles, very similar although she was just a moggy I think, she was a rescue cat and we eventually lost her to cancer; she was very sweet though, timid and loved to be fussed
@claireuk I thought you might like her. She's too friendly, and as I put in the post will follow you and if you don't give her the attention she wants, will leap through the air to get on your shoulders for a ride! Unfortunately she only has the use of 3 legs as she broke one of her front legs a couple of years ago and although the bone mended, the nerve did not, so the muscles wasted away. She still walks on it, but it collapses under her. She's not bothered though. She still catches birds and mice! We still have to make her housebound for the month of July when the baby birds are learning to fly. I've never had a cat that is so loving and attention seeking.
So, you still have to meet Tabby. She is my 12 year old Black Smoke Devon Rex. She has a curly coat which is like the soft undercoat of other cats. The Devon Rex doesn't have a top coat. I haven't put a photo of her on 365 yet as she is very difficult to capture as she won't stay still and 'black' animal are difficult to get right. I will put her on when I get the photo!
@claireuk Yes, bless her, we have to keep the heating on for her in winter when we're out at work! @shepherdman , my other half, being a dog person, is not impressed!
