Loneliness of the Solitary Sunflower

Once again, a photo taken in the field behind our house on one of many early morning dog walks before getting to work for 7am!
It had been raining and raining but then, just before I went out to the field, it stopped and the sun shone onto this solitary sunflower who sits in a huge field full of old rape seed pods waiting to go to the slaughter!
Will miss that ray of sunshine!
