These is what is left of the cow parsley flower (weed). Almost all of the seed pods have fallen off.
Can you see the spider? Wouldn't have brought it in if I'd seen it. The macro lens is brilliant, but sometimes there are things I'd rather not see!
@lucypics Went back to work today but still not feeling too good. Came home and had to walk the dogs as shepherdman is working late tonight. I ended up with a massive headache and had to take tablets and have a sleep. So frustrating! These chest infections take a long while to clear. Am on a 10 day course of antibiotics because of the problems I have with multiple chest infections each year. Thanks for asking.
Having just gotten off a 10-day antibiotic regiment myself, you have my sympathies. And, love this photo. At first I thought you meant a spider named "Spot"... ha!
@steampowered oooh, someone else to make me laugh when I'm feeling poorly! Thank you Paul. You can't imagine the vision I have of you becoming all unnecessary!
@ivan thanks. The sudden change in weather doesn't help. Everyone around me go down with sore throats but I inevitably get the chest infection. Am so fed up. Still waiting for hospital to sort me out long term, but the NHS is so slow.........
Autumn has its brilliant side and its muted side, and I find this a gorgeous example of the latter. I love the composition and the gentle colour. Fav for me! Yes, I see the spider, and I know what you mean, I don't care for them much myself.
