somewhere on the Icefield Parkway between Banff and Jasper.
Such a spectacular drive. Took us all day, for what should have been a 4 hour drive as we just had to keep stopping to soak up and photograph these views.
So beautiful!! Thanks for sharing these shots!! When we drove along the Parkway it was thick fog and we couldn't see a thing!! I will have to go back!! Fav!
Stunning scenery - I can see why it might take forever to travel any distance - these are some awesome colors and such a view! You've been quite the travel agent for Canada. Fav
Beautiful landscape shot. A fav. P.S. I can see why you would take longer than 4 hours to make this trip. I would be stopping all of the time to look at and shoot the views too.
I have been past this point many times, but don't have any pictures that come close to the beauty of yours. Your picture is of the toe of the Columbia Icefields, with Mount Athabasca on the left. The glacier has been receding for the past 10,000 years or so, but the retreat of the glacier toe has been remarkable during the last 20 years.
