I apologise to all of you that have commented and faved todays photo with the same title, as I have just realised that it was very similar to the one put on @shepherdmanswife/365/2014-11-15 . How silly was that? I have deleted it and put this one in its place.
This is still Blackden Brook at the back of Kinder in the Dark Peak, Derbyshire. Again, when taught by a professional photographer, Chris Gilbert, ravenseyegallery.co.uk you realise that there is little need for post processing as time is taken to get it right in camera. I'm not saying this image is right as all images are what the image taker likes and not necessarily what everyone else likes, but I didn't feel a need to change it.
I took a series of shots (with tripod) on aperture priority and F13 with each image taken at a different ISO. I used ISO 100, 200, 400 and 800. As you go from ISO 100 upwards you will find that there is more texture in the images of higher ISO, but of course its a balance between texture and noise! This was taken at ISO 100.
