across the fields at the back of our house. This was taken at the same time as @shepherdmanswife/365/2014-11-21 Romping in the fields. The light was beautiful as the sun went down. It was this lovely orange colour instead of the usual pinks and reds. I have no idea why. Any suggestions?
Beautiful shot. Li am guessing the colours relate to the density of particles in the atmosphere. Be it smoke, condensation etc. they all refract light at different wavelengths effecting the colour of light we see.
Beautiful colours and wonderful patterns, a very interesting shot Chantal. Kane @karlow75 can it also be which way you are facing, i.e. here where I live if we look inland where the sun is setting at sunset the sky is orange and if we are on the coast looking east the sky pinks up.
