These look nice and big and juicy. Mine are small but the blackbird seems to love them. I say blackbird as I'm pretty convinced it's the same one (and his wife) who keeps coming back to the garden.
Such a stunning shot, worth more than a couple of cherries in my book. I have had such problems with wasps in the past - I hunted down the nests at night and sprinkled carbaryl at their entrances, careful of the night watchmen though.
Oh, cherries! What a wonderful fruit to have in the garden!! Yes, the birds get a lot of ours, too, but I chalk it off to natural order....as long as there are some left for me, too!!
