Teeny weeny Wild Flower by shepherdmanswife

Teeny weeny Wild Flower

I was walking down a shaded lane last night and came across a small group of these tiny little flower in the grass. They were so pretty. I am trying out my new macro lens and am impressed so far.

Thank you all so much for getting Inca, my Somali cat, to TT last week and to PP this week. She's such a poser!
so delicate. Great shot.

Fabulous DoF, by the exif data I guess you went for the Sigma? Can you tell me the pro's and con's compared to your old 60mm Canon?
August 4th, 2015
beautiful....
August 4th, 2015
@leonbuys83 mainly because I don't have to get so close to what I am taking a pic of. The reviews are fantastic for the sigma and it has optical stabilisation. I haven't used it enough yet to compare picture quality but so far i'm finding it excellent.

Do you know what this is? It's so pretty and I like your DOF. I have a photo of something that looks very similar and wondered if it were a weed or a wildflower.
August 4th, 2015
@taffy I have no idea. Sorry
August 4th, 2015
Stunning, so clear against the dark background.
August 4th, 2015
I think it might be mouse-eared chickweed. I have seen this around the hedgerows quite often and it is tiny. This is a great shot with lovely detail given it is so tiny.
August 4th, 2015
This is so pretty and delicate, love the composition. I think it could be Stellaria graminea or Lesser Stitchwort @taffy
