on Mam Tor in the dark Peak in Derbyshire. What a surreal sight. This was taken at around 08.30 am.
See @shepherdmanswife/365/2015-10-02 for the full story and thank you all again for the fantastic response to this series of photos from Mam Tor. They are all SOOC apart from a little cropping. Nothing needed as the light was so fantastic. I did use soft ND grads to even out the exposure between sky, mist and land but that's all. I am so pleased with the results.
Another great shot. Had hopes of some low lying mist here this morning as there was a layer last night but all gone in the morning. Would not have been as spectacular as this though.
Beautiful, of course.....another FAV!! A long time ago we walked the Inca trail in Peru from Cuzco to Machu Picchu and camped out along the way.....there was one place called Puyupatamarca where we set tents and slept under the clear skies, and the mist was rising from the valley down below like a witch's cauldron....I will never forget that place, and I wish that I had my camera and better skills to capture it at the time! You have done a fabulous job!
