This blue tit is hanging onto his mixed berry suet block and warning the others off. As you saw yesterday, the long tail tits had a quick nibble, but this guy soon saw them off!
What bird could resist such a taste treat! Suet to fill them and berries that would be irresistible in the winter months! Such a pretty place for a picture!
Beautiful capture! I used to use suet blocks for the birds but Finlay got hold of a large piece the birds had dropped to the ground . I found him choking and thankfully managed to push it out of his throat! Most scary moment and never used them again! Fav for your fab capture!
