I'm feeling really sad today as my 365 friend Lisa Pouncy lost her battle against cancer 2 days ago. She was so lovely. When I wanted to go to a wildlife rescue centre on a photographic outing she invited me to stay at her house with her family for a few days. I was made to feel so welcome. I've been following her fight against cancer and never thought for one minute that she would die. I was shocked to see a post from her husband on facebook announcing she had lost her battle. So sad. She was only 52 and leaves 4 children aged between 23 and 31 and a beautiful granddaughter. Why is it always the best people that have to go first?
Oh! So very sorry for the loss of this special friend of yours! It is amazing to me how close I have come to feel with many of the 365ers on here, even though we may never meet face-to-face. Glad you had the chance to meet Lisa in person and even spend time with her and her family. I pray you and they will feel the comforting presence of God as you grieve her passing!
Yes Lisa was one of the originals when we all started together some years ago. A very special lady and will be missed in this community.
These little long tailed tits arrive with a big gang then disappear in a puff. Lovely capture.
