Each year, the local university does a community service project and goes out into the surrounding community to help homeowners with tasks they need doing. Last year was the first time we signed up to participate, and it was so helpful to have the students for a few hours that we did it again this year. These 6 boys raked leaves, pulled weeds, laid down weed matting, and spread some fresh mulch. It was such a productive day, and we were SO grateful for the help! Nothing spectacular about the shot, but it is indeed my shot for the day (Sat 4/18/15), because, frankly, I'M SHOT!!!
I noticed in your profile that you mentioned that you wanted to improve your indoor portrait photography and that other than a few photos of teh grandbabies you don't have many of that type. So my challenge to you this week is studio style photography, although it can be either still life or portrait.

I found a couple of sites that give information on how to do it without without having to buy loads of gear because that's the last thing I want to ask anyone to do!
