My get pushed challenge for the upcoming week by Saxa is a b&w minimalist photo. My heart skipped a beat when I saw that because I haven't done a minimalist shot and I thought "how in the world am I going to do that?" Don't get me wrong, I was completely intrigued and pumped to do it, but I was scared!
Sitting here this morning playing with photos from yesterday, I was drawn by this accidental shot that was overexposed but nicely high key. I threw it into Silver Efex to see what b&w would do to it, framed it, then thought I should crop out that too-much sky. THEN I realized this might pass as minimalist! HA! WHO KNEW!!!
Hihi, I like your commentary! It works really well, the high key and subject. matter. It's simple yet pleasing to the eye. I might have gone even more extreme, with one third grass and rest sky.
