My get-pushed challenge from Joan @joansmor this week is to take a shot where water is the subject. I told Joan I was pretty sure there was water in my near future, and this is exactly the location I was foreseeing in my future. HOWEVER!!!! I did NOT expect that my pelican buddies would fly THIS CLOSE to me!!!! And, AS ALWAYS, my adrenaline PUMPED!!! And the shot doesn't even begin to be sharp. But baby I was STOKED!!!!
So I've done what I could in Photoshop. This will do, right? Because the point of our passion is to come away with something that made our day, that made us grateful to have our camera in our hand, that made our blood race and our passion boil and left us with an experience that we won't forget, right? These 3 guys did it for me Monday night, and I won't soon forget that moment!
SO! Joan, there's water here, but I can't quite say it's the subject .... ah well!
@joansmor Well! Here's a shot of the action where I attempted to capture the challenge! Never fear, the week's not over! And I had GREAT fun nonetheless!
Hello, I am your get pushed partner for this week. My challenge to you is to change your perspective. Either take from the perspective of a dog or that of a giant. Hope this works for you.
Hi, I am your get pushed partner this week. Your work is so wonderful. I enjoy your water shot a great deal. You have some many wonderful people shots which evoke emotion so very well.
I thought for a challenge I would let you pick between 1) a night shot-no particular subject or 2) a multiple exposure or use of bulb setting with movement of the subject(s). I look forward to yours- Joy (walks@7)
