An unexpected trip down memory lane yesterday on the drive home from taking Mommy and the babies back to their house. Had 8 hours passenger-time to clean up the portable hard drive in preparation for transferring files to a new non-portable hard drive for a second backup after a major scare a few days ago when I thought my portable had died. Obviously got a little side-tracked!
SO many beautiful shots that I had no clue how to process! These 2 shots were taken Labor Day weekend last year at Childress Vineyards. It just amazes me how much they've grown and changed, and yet their personalities are still their personalities! And as I've looked back over their last 19 months of life, I can see that their personalities were apparent even from Day One. I'm struck breathless again by the passage of time and all that has gone on, in their lives and household as well as in the lives and household where I spend my everyday.
And tomorrow I send the teenager back to college for his Sophomore year.
Nice too, but I think the other is much more professionally shot and processed. Here, the white to dark transition out to the right is not handled very well, "posertization" on the boundary area is not very attractive. Perhaps a simple swipe with the spot healing brush could even it out?
