I saw Richard Sayer's @vignouse invitation to his NF SOOC challenge for September, so I pulled out my nifty little fifty and started shooting. I haven't put it to enough good use since I got it, so this year the challenge really resonated with me. I'm on a crop sensor camera, so the 50mm equivalent won't apply, but I will certainly meet my goal of using my NF, and that's what's most important.
I took a LOT of shots that would have worked, but when I applied Richard's standards of composition, lighting, etc being correct in camera, this one seemed to meet the standard the best.
This was a nice way to find a little of my phojo that seems to have "gone missing" lately as I've tried to keep up with two precious little ones!
