World Wide Minute 2018

Met a couple ladies at Chincoteague who were photographing a possible immature bald eagle. I say “possible” because I have no clue - I thought he was a hawk! Hahahaha!!! Anyway, I wouldn’t have noticed him if they hadn’t pulled over all crooked on the side of the road with their cameras pointed up to the tops of the trees. I’ll get some shots processed and posted as soon as I get a chance, but this was a selfie-style shot to capture the Minute!

These ladies had not heard of World Wide Minute, but they have now, so maybe they’ll join us next year!!! Their names are Marianne (in the middle) and Leah (on the right). They were a lot of fun and it made the moment more special to share it with them!

BTW - the eagle is in the trees behind us, but too high up for the angle of this selfie to capture him. You can see him in some of the other shots I took, but the poses weren’t as good as this pose ...
Great capture of the moment. Always fun to share moments with new friends.

How lovely for you to meet some nice ladies who were happy to be your photo subjects. And how exciting for there being a possible immature bald eagle! I'm a bird nerd myself, so I would have gotten all involved in him.her and forgotten about the people. lol. Thanks for participating in World Wide Minute 2018!

@jgpittenger Thank you Jane! I find it too big and crooked, but you make me smile all over again!
