Back in law school, my roommate and I used to rent a Zipcar for a day, trek up to the HMart in the Chicago suburbs, stock up on weeks' worth of groceries and snacks, stuff ourselves in the food court, and go home happy and full and recharged. For two students without a car, those day trips were a time suck but always a highlight. Today I went to the HMart here in ATL with my parents -- much more low-key than my epic HMart excursions back in the day but brought back fond memories.
