Nipped out to take a quick photo of the orange plant while there was a break in the rain and a patch of blue sky. Just got the lens cap off my camera when this little chap jumped up on the wall above me, looked at me then was gone. No time to set my camera up.

I'll take a few moments and look t your pictures. this one told me right away that you live somewhere in Europe. I've seen these squirrels in Germany. ours are either black or grey and therefore not as pretty as yours. I like that you captured his alertness. fav.
@dawnbez@bruni Thank you for your comments. Bruni I saw the photograph of the Black squirrel you have, I have never seen one but have been told there are some in the South of England now. It looks very odd to me to see one in black. We also have Grey ones in England but around here they are kept a bay to protect the reds.
