Road bridge, the second way to cross the river Lyvennet. This bridge is known as 'The Dent' bridge and has the Dent family crest on the wall above the arch.
@terryliv@hermann@maggiemae Thank you all for your interest and comments on my pictures. Sally and Maggiemae, I am not sure exactly how old the bridge is but I have read that it was built by the Dent family in the 1600's after the course of the river Lyvennet was moved.
@julienne1@susanalena@milaniet@tosee@koalagardens@cashew Thank you all your comments are appreciated. Kathy I have walked over it many times as well as driven over it as it is a road bridge. The Dent family (which is not my family) are local landowners and have been prominent in the area for many, many years.
