Royal Highland show

We were at the Royal Highland Show today. The picture on the right is of a guy at the top of the pole that they use for the 'tree' climbing competition. There are two of these poles side by side and they race up them at great speed, they have spikes on their shoes and a harness round the pole which they move up as they climb. The cattle on the left are just some of the different breeds that were there. From top to bottom is The British Blue breed, The Galloway, The Limousin, The Belted Galloway and The Angus.
Nice shots and love how you assembled the collage, Shirley!

Thanks for putting them all in a collage! I'm always interested in the different breeds and can never remember them - except for the Belted Galloway, the name which amuses me!

Great collage Shirley. Love the pics of the cattle. Where was the show held? It wasn't the one they have Braemar (I think) in Scotland was it?

Looks to be a spectacular agricultural show. I love the belted galloways - think they are my favourites. Don't fancy the climb though! Super collage.
