Bee feast

This Sedum plant must be very tasty because every year there are always lots of bees on it. Often butterflies as well but this year we seem to have very few butterflies.
Great catch

The flowers are so tiny its a wonder they can get the pollen! All bumble bees?

They're a great plant to have to attract butterflies and bees and colour when everything is looking a little tired. Those bees are certainly enjoying their feast.

I've noticed lately, too, how active the bees are around my flowers. This must be a delicious plant they're enjoying.

Great to see bees at work like this and in October! I think I have seen many more bees in the last few years so hope they are on the increase again.
