River Lyvennet by shirleybankfarm

River Lyvennet

This is the river Lyvennet that runs through the middle of the village of Maulds Meaburn. The triangular shaped heap of gravel that is in front of the weir has been washed down the river and deposited during the storms we have been having this winter. It will probably get removed when the weather gets better so the river keeps to it's normal route.
shows the power of the water

@anniesue @hermann @bkbinthecity @flowerfairyann @roachling @pyrrhula Thank you all for your lovely comments. It will be a lot of work to remove all the stone. Ann, the weather at the moment is beautiful, really spring like.
