As promised yesterday a few shots showing where all the snow from the fields has gone. The top right and the one below it show very dirty snow. This is because as it has been blown from the fields it has taken some of the soil with it. The middle left is looking down a road that has not yet been dug out and is totally full of snow. Farmers round about have been very frustrated because the milk tankers have not been able to get to them and they have had to let the milk go down the drains. Some have had to let 4 days worth of milking go.

It took quite a long time for these drifts to melt away. Pat it always amazes me how you can travel such a short distance and the weather can be so different.
No snow in our part of the NL, but very cold.
