Nandina and Dry Creek

Some of you noticed the rocks in the background yesterday. They are part of a “dry creek”. It just makes an interesting feature in our backyard, but it is also the drainage for the back. It feeds into drains that our community requires to capture water. It uses the recycled water to water our community gardens.
Nice shot

Good to know that the water is well managed. So much is wasted.

Lovely shot and interesting narrative. Some on our estate have something similar, but we are not all connected.
