Poppy ?

I think it’s a California Poppy that lost a petal or two, but still has a vibrant color.

@beryl @koalagardens I had my doubts. Maybe a bird brought a seed from someone’s yard. There haven’t been wildflowers like this.

I think it might be a Mariposa lily. It’s very pretty, so vibrant in the sunlight.

Do poppies come in yellow? I guess they must.

@pusspup California poppies range from yellow to dark orange. Most are orange.But as some mentioned, this is probably not a poppy. Maybe it is a home garden plant that found its way to the open space.
