This is a beautiful venue for performers. I have only seen one performance there. It was a Mary Black concert. We had box seats given to us by a friend who was unable to attend. This building was also added since I went to school there. When I was a student at UC Davis, it had 13,000 students. Now it has over 40,000 students. It is such a different place.
@k9photo I’d say some nostalgia. We only live 35 minutes away, but it has become so busy and congested that we don’t usually enjoy visiting it anymore. The towns acreage hasn’t grown, just 3 times more people. It was founded as an agriculture school and still had a lot of farmland when I went there, but most of that seems to be student and teacher housing now.
