Bridge Timbers

My wife and I traveled to neighboring Ohio so I could photograph some of the covered bridges in Ashtabula County. I was considering placing an entry in the B&W Fortnight 6: Light and Shadows Theme and decided this would be it. Support beams for a covered bridge.

Thank you my dear friends for taking the time to post all these encouraging comments! I could sit for hours and look at good black and white photographs. While Ansel Adams and Fred Archer had 11 shades in their Zone System from pure white to jet black I don't feel that you need all of them in every photograph.
