Twas A Dark and Dreary Night (II)

After reading some of the comments about the mysterious look of my original shot, I thought I'd add a little more mystery by adding a Humphrey Bogart type of character to the mix.
Oh wow, this is a great step up to yesterday's capture. Love it. It also has a mafia feeling. FAV.

Thank you very much for all you heartwarming comments and favs. Sorry about being slow in responding, but I've been preoccupied with our granddaughter who has been fighting some health problems for a month an a half now. Hopefully the medicines with start clearing up the problem and she returns to good health.

Twas A Dark and Dreary Night
As I sat in my car, I slouched down in the driver's seat trying to remain inconspicuous. I fought off the damp cold that was chilling to the bone. I didn't have the car running as I didn't want anyone to become aware that I was there.
When I saw the lights in the house go out, I waited until thirty minutes passed before exiting the car.
I walked across the street with the collar of my coat pulled tight around my neck trying to keep the cold and rain out. The street light cast a long shadow of my form on the pavement. I could hear a dog barking in the distance as I approached the driveway of the darkened house.
