Our granddaughter's band concert was scheduled for December 16, 2021. However, a young lady who was a member of the silks dance line that performs with the marching band, died following an accident. Out of respect for the family, the concert was rescheduled for January 5, 2022.
This is the 7th and 8th-grade band and as the band director pointed out, this was their first on-stage concert in two years because of the COVID outbreak. Our granddaughter is the third from the left in white towards the back. She is a percussionist and was playing cymbals for this piece.
