My wife and I invited our oldest daughter out for lunch on Sunday. This Mom & Pop restaurant was very busy. As we waited for our food to be prepared I noticed these boys sitting at a table waiting for their food too. So I took the opportunity to capture them then decided to kind of mask their identity by applying an artistic effect. I was hoping for more of a Norman Rockwell effect and his amazing way of capturing real people living out their lives.
@lyndemc - I can help fill in a little about their story. I believe two families were enjoying lunch together and so the boys got to sit together at a nearby booth. How it turned out that the one boy was on one side by himself? The one boy standing near the window had gotten up to engage the two boys sitting on the chairs. I am glad the photograph had an effect on you!
