With the temperatures dropping we were worried about the pair of hummingbirds that have been frequenting our feeder. So far they seem to be doing well.
If you look at the Exif for this shot you will notice my lens was set for 88mm and you might wonder how did I get such a close shot. Well, the feeder is approximately 1 foot from our dining room window. I set my camera up on my tripod and allowed them to get used to it being there. It didn't take very long as they have been to the feeder very often throughout the day. I am rather chuffed, if I may use a term from my British friends!
