Hello...me again. This photo was taken on Friday...Black Friday. Mom was busy putting Christmas lights up outside today so she didn't get a chance to take a photo. If you've ever seen the movie Christmas Vacation...that's kinda what it's looking like outside right now. I'm suprised the breaker hasn't tripped yet. We live in a neighborhood where people come around on a trolley bus and look at the Christmas lights. Mom even has a pink flamingo with lights and a pink pig has been ordered so she's hoping it gets here soon. She is insane!

Anyway, this was the Black Friday photo. Mom went shopping but not at 5am like most people do. She went out around 1:00 in the afternoon and did a little shopping...all for herself I believe. The real Christmas shopping probably won't happen until the last possible moment. That's all for now...back to work tomorrow : (
This should have been a store ad. Very cute.

Jack, you obviously helped out by searching the paper for the best deals. I agree, you do seem to be smiling at the situation. Your mom is a braver woman than I am, I didn't go near the stores on Black Friday..well, I went to one and plan to post a photo this evening.

Ha--I'm kind of the same way, I hide on Black Friday and go out later in December. No Black Friday gifts and treats for the models? Heehee (:

Jack, you are adorable here! I also did not brave the stores on Friday or at all this weekend!

Your mom sounds a lot like me, except for the lights outside. I wait till the last possible second to go shopping...I know it's crazy but that's how I roll...and I usually wind up getting the best deals and the coolest gifts!

I'd like to see that! A friend here in Richmond rents and fills 2 large James River buses and runs his own "Tacky Light Tour" each year.
