A week to go ?

About a week to go for this field of oats to be harvest.I like the late summer hedge rows. It started to rain just after I took this picture ,so Snowy and I had to run for cover.

Beautiful. You really get the feeling it's just about to rain. I love that smell - I think there might be a technical name for it - but whatever it's callled it's fabulous. Might have something to do with growing up on a drought effected farm.

Lovely shot...and yes, running for cover in a rainstorm...makes me think of a walk I took a few weeks ago...was too far from home to run so just got soaked...but it was a warm rain so it was not too bad getting wet.
