Veronica and I just got home from a glorious, zen-filled week in Tulum, Mexico. It was just what we both needed, as work was really stressing us out. I took close to 500 images in Tulum but am way too tired to even think about processing any of them. However, I plan to go through them over the next couple of weeks and post the best ones to my project.
In the meantime, I would like to finish my New York City series and have a few more NYC images to post to my project.
The Guggenheim museum is located on the Upper East Side. It was built in 1959 and designed by Frank Lloyd Wright. It is one of the world's most striking architectural designs. Josh and I enjoyed seeing the Francesca Woodman exhibit here.
I have missed all my friends on the project and found it frustrating not being able to post for the last week. But I'm back!
@sanfil Thanks Sandra - it is one of my favorite buildings and museums! @marieooi Thank you Marie - I have 5 more NYC images I want to post, then it is on to Tulum for my project!
If I had known Frank Lloyd Wright had designed the Guggenheim museum, I had forgotten. Thanks for sharing the photo and words. I would have loved to have spent a day there myself.
@worthitall Thanks, Rashella - he is my favorite architect. @simon0128 Thank you, Simon. @jdr4690 Thanks, Rob. A bit jet lagged from travel this morning but I am looking forward to processing the Tulum pics soon! @peadar Thanks, Peter.
