Beach Spider Lily (many thanks to Livia for researching its name!)
I want to thank everyone who commented on and fav'd yesterday's sunrise image. I am humbled by your incredibly kind comments and honored that my sunrise image was selected for PP. This is a wonderful community that helps me in more ways than I can express, and not just with my photography.
Today's image: there were many native plants and flowers in Tulum that were incredibly beautiful. These particular flowers surrounded the hotel's pool and were just lovely. Due to my Spanish being more like Spanglish, I was unable to learn from the grounds keeper what the name of this flower is. But it was quite lovely.
Edit: the name of this flower is Beach Spider Lily (many thanks to Livia for doing the research!)

Love the white and green and the little pop of orange in the stamen. They look like they would be difficult to photograph. Congrats on PP for yesterday's shot. Well deserved
