Thanks for all the nice comments on yesterday's coral rock/hotel zone image. Almost all of the cabanas in Tulum look like the primitive huts from yesterday. But not where we stayed! Here is Cabanas Tulum, the nicest "cabana" on the Tulum beach. Our room is in this image, we had an upstairs suite that has a spacious outdoor terrace with a thatched roof and a private sundeck on the third floor. Cababas Tulum has air conditioning (very rare in Tulum), fresh water showers (ditto) and two fresh water swimming pools (ditto again). Really nice place. I'm ready to go back already!
