The top dog for Camaro's lineup in 1969 was the Z/28, which was virtually a street legal race car. Built so Chevrolet could race in the new Trans Am American road racing series, the 1969 Z/28 was rated by the factory at 290 horsepower for insurance purposes, but actual horsepower was closer to 400. It was fast and handled well, a rare combination in its time. The 1969 body style was not only attractive, but it also was a one year only body style, making the 1969 Z/28 the most desirable of all Z/28s.
I may be off the grid for the next four days so if I don't post or comment on your photos, that is why. I hope to have some nice beach photos when I return.
