Veronica and I just returned home from a very fun evening at Philips Arena, where we watched the Atlanta Hawks play the Chicago Bulls from a luxury VIP suite that one of my clients rented. It was a great evening, with delicious food, good drinks and wonderful company. It was also Veronica's first NBA game. I brought my smallest camera with me as it easily fits in my pocket, and I captured this wide angle view from our seats in the VIP suite.
That is so awesome that you had that experience! Thanks for this shot-it brought me back to the 80's, when I took my oldest son and his best friend to the Garden to see the Celtics play(Larry, Kevin and Robert, Danny Ainge, etc) the Hawks-Doc Rivers played for Atlanta back then, and as I'm sure you know, is now the Celtics Coach. Those were the days!
Very nice view. I had a similar shot with my P&S from the Wizards game at the Verizon Center in the Lockheed Martin Sky Suite. We spent a good part of the game watching the Baltimore Ravens make it to the SuperBowl. Luckily my husband didn't realize that they were playing because I think he would have turned down the tickets.
Great view and a fabulous shot. Sure sounded like a fun evening. We haven't been to see the Orlando Magic in YEARS.....last time was during the Shaq-Penny era in the old O-rena.
