Dean Rusk was the U.S. Secretary of State under the Kennedy administration and was a member of the UGA law faculty for 20 years. I had the honor of being taught by Dean Rusk when I was a law student and I was very happy to see the University has constructed a magnificent building in his honor. The Dean Rusk Hall includes multi-purpose classrooms, an electronic courtroom, space for the Institute of Continuing Judicial Education, faculty offices for the Law School, and the Dean Rusk Center for International and Comparative Law.
While certainly not in the style of the North Campus neo-classical buildings that surround it (the library is in the background), Dean Rusk Hall has very interesting architecture and is admired by faculty, students and visitors. Best viewed large.
