The 1959 Cadillac Coupe de Ville was the ultimate statement of wealth, success, luxury, ostentation and over-the-top styling. With the largest, longest and tallest tail fins ever placed on an automobile, this massive and ornate vehicle had truly outrageous styling, inspired by space rockets and jet fighters. It is an iconic example of American ingenuity and optimism in the 1950's.
