Title courtesy of the Beach Boys, who first released "Little Deuce Coupe" in 1963, as the "B" side to Surfer Girl. Both songs became huge hits.
I re-edited this image last night to emphasize the clean lines of this 1932 Ford V-8 coupe, known as a "deuce coupe" to hot rodders. Behind the '32 Ford is a 1965 Pontiac Catalina 2+2 coupe with the high output, tri-power, super duty 421 motor. I really like the contrast between these two iconic hot rods, born 33 years apart. Beautiful automobile Danny! And so are the songs! There is a convenience store/gas station not too far from me that has started their Friday Night Cruises. I might have to pay a visit and see if the owners would mind me photographing their cars.
32 Ford. My Dad had one of these when he and my Mother were married. It was Henry Ford's "traditional" black, however. I have so many photos of it Nice shot and POV. Wonder what Henry would think of the bright red paint job?
