A rare event in Georgia

I'm interrupting the NYC series as we had a rare winter storm in Georgia, causing what is now known as Atlanta SnowJam 2014. It snowed for hours, businesses and schools closed early causing traffic armageddon. I took this off my deck just as the snow began. By my ruler, we got three inches of the white stuff at my house. Best viewed large to see the snow flakes falling.

Lovely capture of the falling snow and a pretty view from your deck. Hopefully you didn't get caught it that awful jam. One of my other 365 friends in Alpharetta was stranded on the road all night. I can't believe something like that can happen in this day and age.
